Description: The event route is marked and makes use of the park's existing trail system, which winds through mostly flat wooded areas along the banks of the Tippecanoe River in a Winter environment.

Location: Nature Center, Potawatomi Wildlife Park
Start Point / Driving Directions: Potawatomi Wildlife Park, 16998 SR 331, Tippecanoe, IN 46570. This Park is approximately 6-1/2 miles South of the intersection of State Road 331 and US Highway 30. From this intersection turn South onto SR 331, and remain on the State Road through Bourbon, Indiana. and beyond. Look for the Park on your left. There is a clearly visible sign that identifies the the Park. If you cross over the Tippecanoe River, you have driven 1/8th of a mile too far.
Awards & Fees: IVV Credit Only
Comments: 1) This is a Credit Only event. 2) Registration as a Park quest, and donations to the Park are encouraged. 3) Use caution and dress using attire appropriate for the weather conditions, as this is a WINTER event in
Northern Indiana.

Observing starts 1 hour after dark free admission and free parking

Visitors will be able to view several heavenly objects through advanced telescopes and ask

experienced astronomers questions. Families are encouraged to attend and experience what the

universe has to offer.

BENACK'S CROSSING

This is a new event partnership with 7 YEARS WAR INC.

FEE: $10.00 PER VEHICLE

We expect this event to start out small but grow in the coming years. Come expierence this event in its first year!

Take the high ground and watch the battle in wide screen, super high definition with absolutely no commercials! Enjoy 18th century military battles & witness 18th century life.

Visit potawatomi park to witness battles between the french & their native allies against the british military for dominance on the north american continent to determine which country will be the world’s next super power.

Living historians will reenact 18th century life in french and british military camps and the native
village. Crafts people will demonstrate their skills and trades in the vendors’ areas and villages.
Sutlers will provide food and refreshments. Merchants will be on-site to offer mementos of the
experience.

En plein air is a French expression which means "in the open air", and is particularly used to describe the act of painting outdoors.

The park will be open for artist to come and paint the beautifull scenery.

Visitors are welcome to stop by and observe their paintings and even buy their finished product.
